In October 2022, ZC Rubber was delighted to exhibit an extensive WESTLAKE OTR product range at the 2022 BAUMA show in Munich, Germany.

WESTLAKE OTR tires garnered a lot of attention from European customers looking for high quality and affordable performance at Bauma 2022. Many end-users from the mining industry were very interested in the WESTLAKE 27.00 R 49 CB791. Wheel loader customers rated WESTLAKE extremely highly and expressed great satisfaction with the performance of the L5 tire pattern, CB773 and CB790.

Although certain WESTLAKE OTR products were not on display at the booth, there was a lot of interest in these products, including the CM399 mobile crane tires. Visitors from port operators using reach stackers showed great interest in the 18.00 - 25 CL629K. Many visitors were also looking for supplies of the WESTLAKE range of forklift tires, both solid and pneumatic.

Furthermore, echoing the highlights of this year's BAUMA - digital, intelligent and sustainable - WESTLAKE, in cooperation with its partner Marangoni, offered a coherent concept for sustainable development, i.e. saving resources and costs on tires throughout the service life of construction machinery.

WESTLAKE OTR tires feature excellent retreadability. This advantage makes WESTLAKE OTR tires a good fit for Marangoni Retread Systems Germany (MRSD), which has been in the tire retreading field for a long time, eventually leading to a partnership between the two companies since three years ago.

Clemens Zimmermann, Manager of Marangoni: "In addition to the quality, which we checked very intensively, the ability to be retreaded was, of course, a central criterion. We have found that Westlake OTR tire casings are excellent for hot retreading using our concept. The cooperation is, therefore, a 'perfect match.' In other words, we bring the best of both worlds together."
